Dear Sue and Andy

You may not remember me. I bought a Cockapoo bitch puppy from you last October. I had first pick of the black bitches. To jog your memory Sue had to drive us to the nearest cash point as I had only brought a cheque with me!

I promised then that I would contact you to let you know how everything was going. I had intended doing this much sooner but, as I'm sure you can appreciate, looking after a house, large garden AND a puppy while working full time doesn't leave much time to sit down! Hence the delay.

However, I really wanted to get in touch to let you know what a lovely puppy she's turned out to be. If you've managed to place me you may recall that she made a beeline for me and made it impossible for me to look at the other 3 bitches. She has remained as lively and friendly ever since and I wouldn't swap her for the world. She has a wonderful temperament and loves being fussed over by just about everyone she meets.

I live a 5 minute walk from woods and fields where we walk daily and where she delights in terrorising the local squirrel and rabbit population. Fortunately she's very good at coming back when called! She's been attending dog training sessions since December and took her Kennel Club Bronze Good Citizenship Award a few weeks ago. Unfotunately we failed on one thing - the ability to sit still for one minute - not surprising as everyone including the vet refers to her as hyper! But we shall be going in for it again in mid-June when hopefully we'll advance to the next level. (Since first writing I can now proudly confirm that we have advanced to the Silver class!!)

She's a good traveller and has accompanied me on two lengthy trips up to Blackpool from Hertfordshire and settled very quickly. On short journey's she does like to look out of the front windscreen while balancing on her back legs resting her back on the car seat and one paw on my forearm to steady herself. She's going to get me arrested one of these days. Though I hasten to add she is in a harness.

She attracts a great deal of attention due to her friendly outgoing nature (which is why in the end I named her Rosie) and one of my neighbours has been so impressed that despite having a 22 week old puppy of another breed has asked me for your contact details which I shall give her.

She was 9 months old last Wednesday (now just over 10 months). I finally managed to get her to stay still long enough to measure her this morning and she is 14" high at the shoulder and weighs just over 6 kilos. I'm lucky enough to be able to have her clipped locally by someone who has trained to trim cockapoos so she does look like a cockapoo. I've hopfully attached a recent photo of Rosie for you to see

All the best to you both,

Gillian Hague

Claire Brockhurst re: 'Treacle' 22nd June 07

We just thought we would drop you a line to say how Treacle is, he is fine and has loads of personality, he likes to pinch clothes especially socks. He has a nickname 'Sponge dog' as he seems to soak up water, then drops it all over us!

He is quite difficult to get photos of as his eyes tend to disappear, but we had his hair cut at the weekend so here are some photos we took last night.

Subject: If you are looking for a Cockapoo Puppy Dawn Monnery Apr 5 2007

Hi Sue and Andy,

I have just come across your website and i think that your site is FAB. Its hard to believe that Timmy and Meg are now 8 months old and are the most loving and placid dogs ever.

If you are reading this and are looking for a Cockapoo puppy I recommend Topmac Cockapoos with absolutely no reservations - you really won't find better anywhere else!

lost of love Dawn
